OpenGL Newsgroups and Mailing Lists

Besides the Message Boards on OpenGL.org, there are many outside resources for discussing OpenGL coding and support issues.

  • The Usenet newsgroup, devoted to OpenGL programming
• opengl-gamedev-l
  • OpenGL game development mailing list. While the emphasis of this list is on game programming, general OpenGL programming information and examples are welcome as well.
• Mac OpenGL Mailing List
  • This mailing list is to allow discussion on the use and programming of the OpenGL technologies on the MacOS.
• #OpenGL IRC channel
  • The #OpenGL IRC channel is devoted to OpenGL discussion.
